I think I encouraged them all though!
A couple of weeks ago, I was looking up 'Permanent Speed Cameras in Victoria' in newsgroups, and before you know it, the discussion thread went way off topic.
The topic was supposed to be talking about where the fixed speed cameras are located, but people started discussing speedo accuracy and it just all became nasty!
The final word
- it is a fantastic car! I haven't 'stretched its legs' really yet, but so far it is an absolute winner!
I can't remember where I found this piece of writing (on AlfaOwner or somewhere else), but it seems to sum up :
Alfas are the best for anyone who has a soul. Who works to live, not lives to work. Anyone who wants to express happiness, and feel happiness every time they start the engine, someone turns their head to look, or they want to show off at the lights.
When you sit in an Alfa it doesn't say "I do 80 mpg", it says "Let' go and burn some rubber!"
It doesn't say "I have fourteen cup holders", it says "hold on to your cup grandad, cos we're coming through!"
It doesn't say "I am so boring you can hide in me", it says "Look at me!!"
In short, Alfas for all their faults, are the best dollar for dollar fun you can have from a car. If you don't believe me, then look at an Alfa owners face every time they look at their car.
