I have a bit of a cat problem, the feline type...my neighbour has this cat which likes to come and sit on top of my 147's bonnet for some reason as evidenced my the paw prints which arent so bad, but it leaves scratches! can u guys think of anyway to prevent this? bar hooking the car upto the mains!
i was thinking to cover the car each night, but a less-hassle solution would be greatly appreciated.
Evidently cats don't like the smell of citrus fruits! Try a citrus scented wax or even orange peel on the bonnet- looks untidy tho'or you could try throwing oranges at the creature!
I have got the very same problem with my neighbours cat. Unfortunately the cat is getting old so there have been one or two instances of him not quite making it when jumping onto the boot, and him sliding off of the rear wing with claws extended. I have pretty much given up trying to keep him off. I've got a tailored car cover for the car which wasn't cheap, but he just uses that to clean his claws with, and has just about destroyed it.
I know this doesn't help you, but I just thought you'd like to know you aren't alone.
I only moved so my steering wheel would be on the correct side.
Nice one armoore, I was trying to remember that one.
Cat's don't like citric acid so leave orange & lemon peel along you flower beds & along the side of the drive way. Shoudl keep him out of your garden.
To keep dogs from fouling your lawn fill a 2ltr bottle with water & leave it in the centre of the lawn, stops most dogs.
Thanks for the citric fruit idea fellas, i think i'll try and find a scented wax or something..or maybe pour orange juice on the car(?!)
if that doesnt work then maybe the car cover...
and yeh dave thanks for the article, i'll be sure to keep those windows closed!
