Changing that cable is a pain in the backside. Can be done although alot of patience is required.

As for the person who mentioned upholsterers, theres no stitching involved so that suggests to me they've been rather hashy when removing the seat cover.

Phil, that rear panel does need a good careful pull but does unclip, fasteners are door panel style clips,then gently work up the leather/material on back of seat to expose that poxy tie wrap and your there mate,as stibbs says pain in the **** job ,more worrying than complicated though mate.
