You sure it's pegasus blue? - I ordered one new from a dealer in Ireland mid-2001, and had a good look at the colour charts when I was making my decision - never saw a pegasus blue - perhaps the details on the vehicle registration form are wrong? or else it's been resprayed?
The sticker inside the bootlid is 436/A Pegasus Blue. It was registered (new) in September 2000. Just before I bought it, my 155 was in the dealers for (another) drive shaft and they lent me a 2.4 JTD, that was Pegasus too. Also, if you look on www.findit.co.uk at the Alfa's for sale there is at least one on there listed at Pegasus.
I'm not overly worried as the bodyshop can get it if the worst happens, it's a mystery I'd like to solve though !!
Cosmos blue, yes there are lots of them in the U.K, though not as many as there are silver ones ! From what the bodyshop people said Pegasus was only used for a very short time, I think Alfa probably replaced it with Cosmos.
It's a dark blue. Very similar to Sail and Cosmos. In the sun it's slightly lighter than either of those and has a purpleish hint to it in certain lights. The code (silver sticker on the boot lid) has the code 436/A. As I can't get a touch-up sitck from the dealer netowork I've used a Sail (400/A) one. Which is fine for very small chips.
