the number after the size is the load rating, a higher number is a higher load rating. There's a minimum specified for your car.
The R simply means the tyre is of the Radial type, a way of construction, as opposed to Diagonal (not in use anymore, btw)
The V or W are speed ratings, and I don't know the values in miles, but in km/h they are 240 and 270 km/h respectively... These are the speeds the tyres can withstand for a limited amount of time when properly inflated. Can't remember the exact duration, but just see it as a speed limit...
