Re: 147 Service Advice
Jarek, I would definitely have it serviced as soon as possible as Alfa romeo were meant to replace mine at my 3rd (36,000mile) service and forgot. Guess what? Four months later, the cam belt failed, and cost of repair is £2000, as it damaged the pistons, valves and engine. Fortunately because Alfa forgot to replace the cam belt when they were meant to, and I have 3 months warranty remaining, they had to foot the bill, but it's been 2 weeks now without a car, and no offer of a courtesy car for their negligence or apologies.
I suggest you take it in as soon as possible, and ask for an invoice recepit to prove the cam belt has been replaced.
