Re: Alfa Diag and Selespeed/Airbag questions
All is now well. I was looking for the Selespeed functions under the engine ECU menu. I found the Selespeed ecu login bit and it works fine. The Selespeed ECU had 5 faults, I cleared them, then re-calibrated it and bled the clutch too. Took it for a drive and the shift times are down, and it seems smoother in the shifts it makes. However, the shifts in CITY mode seem to be slightly slower. I'm sure it re-learn what it needs over the next week or so.
On the wire between pins 3 and 7 debate, it seems there are too sides, the 'connect them up only for MY97 function checks', and the
'It'll be fine, wire the two together, it works fine' whcih one is right.
My airbag problem is with my GTV, I don't want to break it, or my snazzy cable! (I can't add a switch as the PCB is soldered pretty much directly to a mini circuit board which then solders direct to the pins of the connector. I really don't have enough A. Room, B. Guts to mess with it!)
