Alfa 147 rattles

Anyone out there know how to stop the instrument panel on the 147 from rattling.

I have been back 3 times to the dealer in 8 months to have the instrument panel sorted. The clocks rattle on bumpy roads and the plastic trim around the clocks just make a loud creaking noise. The dealer has removed and retightened the clocks numerour times, but nothing works.

The large centre airvent has started to rattle now, so it's going back into the dealer on the 12th Feb. for another go

Anyone have similar problems ?

I got a rattle from the drivers side, top of the dashboard!! I only noticed it recently cos the bose system overrides all rattles

I've figured out how it works though... only comes in when the car's cold!! 10-15mins later after its warmed up... it goes away!! I guess its because the dash contracts when cold, but then when warmed up expands back into place more tightly!!!
I dont know whether thats becuase of the new material used in the 147's dashboard??

the rattles you have experienced sounds a bit like the infamous 156 rattle, which also appears in winter, and goes away when the car has warmed up a little, after about 10-15 minutes...
