Re: Replacement 147 parts
Most parts factors know stock parts for the Alfas, but these would not be Alfa OEM parts ... but then any parts Alfa provide will be made by someone else! (Bosch for electronics, various suppliers for brakes, suspension, etc). The only difference should be they pack the parts in nice red Alfa boxes and possibly quality check it a second time ... but that's wishful thinking.
Most of us now tend to buy non-Alfa parts where we can so are using Mintex brakes pads or discs, Delphi brake hoses or even upgrading to Goodridge, etc. I personally only use Alfa dealers when I can't get the part anywhere else.
Your garage may have a preferred supplier and as such might get a slightly better price, but it is always worth asking if they would fit parts you supply ...
I get most of my parts from EBSpares, shop4parts, buypartsby, but would also consider AlfaWorkshop, Alternative Autos, AlfaShop, etc. I know my local specialist uses AlfaShop as I've seen the deliveries ...
Some dealers such as Magoletsi will ship parts to you ordered over the phone ... and also sell unwanted stock on ebay as Mangoparts!
