156 1.8ts Won't start after timing belt replacement
After replacing the timing belt, idler, tensioner, variator, water pump, engine oil + filter and air filter, the 156 won't start. Won't even try. I've rechecked the cam timing and belt tension, checked that all the wiring connections I unplugged are snug.
There is an injector light on the dash that's lit and also I'm getting a "CODE" light on the dash as well. It seems like I have no spark. I did test for spark but didn't detect anything.
I'm almost certain it's no spark as opposed to fuel or mechanical but I don't know what we've done to cause that. Oh yeah, the exhaust cam sensor looks to be back in the same position it came from, I've cheked every fuse I can see and it was running suh-weet before I messed with it (preventative maintenance - huh). Any ideas from anyone?
