I agree. Stef is a real enthusiast and it has been great to bounce things off him. That tripmeter tip really has been helpful. He sent me some photos as well. I've used some of them on my 147 website <shamelessplug> http://www.kadesign.com.au/alfa147/ <\shamelessplug>.
Thanks for the extremly amusing e-mail. You'll see my response in a few minutes.
I must say that I have enjoyed the camaraderie and the insightful advice from fellow Alfa Owners.
We all share a passion and its great that we can help each other in technical terms or just sharing driving experiences.
I would say that having people like Numanracing really helps as well as we get the proper answer from the horse's mouth, so to say.
Anyhow, Moby mentioned something in his e-mail which made me laugh as it applies to me, and I wanted to know if anyone else is as passionate (read Neurotic) about their Alfa.
My Finacee goes nuts because I have a tendency to drive around shopping center carparks for an extra 10~15 minutes looking for a Corner Carspot...it means that there is half the chance of some idiot putting a ding on my door.
I again will agree with all the posts in this thread, alfaowner is a great place to be.....you guys make it worth the visit.
BTW Steph would love to see those detials on the cd install, part no's etc....I've got the connect system and my little boy hates having the map off, as the nav system shares the cd I end up just having the radio on rather than fiddle with the discs on short journeys. The dealer price was thru the roof....
I also drive around the car park....I'm dreading that first ding....anyone out there noticed if you take all the time in the world parking up somewhere safe, you just know you are going to come back and find a 4x4, workvan or wreck full of kids banging doors parked next to you?
