Heated washer jets

My washers seem to take forever to unfreeze and certainly won't unfreeze when on the move - do they heat up via the rear screen heater button or some method I have yet to discover. Am I expecting too much of them? Seems to me the only useful feature of the winter pack is the heated seats.(but who decided on the button position for them?)

Any clues/enlightenment appreciated.

i don't think there is any unfreeze feature for the washers when they are frozen.

The fact that they are heated only means that they should dissolve the grease and grime better with the screen wash.

I think i'm right on that?

Hi guys, Screen wash has anti freeze properties, it should never freeze, otherwise you may crack or damage the pump/hoses or nozzles!
If you find that they are freezing still... change to a stronger wash mix. -5 or something.

I use -40 on the car I have now, which has no electrical defrosting of the jets, they never freeze, even when it's 20-25 below! Just go easy on the water, and you'll be fine...

More screen wash, less water. Thanks. Why didn't I think of that?

147 Dude - you go out of the house at -25? Wow. I had -5 up on the display a couple of days ago and considered hibernating.
