Bought my 155 from them when it was 6 months old. Right from the start they were not good.
The preparation and valet was done but didnt include any of the items I noticed on the test drive. The car was sold with fag ends still in the ashtray(!) and a bad "egg" on the rear NS tyre(!!). (I didnt notice 'til week after so my expense!!) The interior was generally grubby, finger marks and scuffs.
Started having trouble with Lambda sensors, car back and forth. Found I had to chase them up continuosly to get things done, very rarely did they phone me when promised.
They misdiagnosed the trouble despite me telling them what I thought it was, from previous experience (now on 4th Lambda) but didnt charge me for the wrong part. They would assure me it was fixed but I would be back 5mins later after driving off the forecourt, shud av seen their faces!!!
I developed quite a good relationship with the friendly service desk chaps but they have now changed staff. I only use Autoworld for parts now.....£55+vat an hour for labour is too rich for me!!!! Might have to let them have a look at my alarm tho' (see other posts).
I am told they are better now, with new mechanics and have got their act together. My only gripe now is that they have to order every part you need, they dont seem to carry any stock.
To conclude, (hooray you cry) I would call them everyday for updates and make a nuisance of yourself or you may be forgotten!!! Did you get the customer satisfaction call/letter, have a moan on that.
ps isnt there a dealer in Sheffield anymore?
