Hi guys... I'm going to give my two cents here asl well... I haven't even gotten my 147 yet, but I've been driving Italian for 2 years now. And I must say I've had less problems with my Fiat than I thought I would have beforehand, because everyone is always talking about the lack of quality in the cars. I've had problems with the VVT of the Fiat Barchetta engine, but so has a colleague of mine who drives a BMW, and he's had more trouble getting it fixed by his dealer! Volvo had to recall cars because the steering wheel came loose, Mercedes A-Class tipped over, Golfs and A3's had the airbag disabled on the driver's side, A3's had seatbelts that weren't fastened correctly... The list goes on. All I'm trying to say is I think that reputation is exactly what sticks here, so even if Alfa has a bad reputation for quality, that might not be so much the case anymore? And if you bought a German car instead, maybe you would be bored out of your mind everyday on the way to work, and still get serious problems with your car?
