Wheres the throttle body/actuator

Hello people, had diag done on 55 plate gt due to "engine management failure" warning light on. been told its the throttle actuator, its been cleaned but the light came back on, was going to clean it again or fit new part...but i havent a clue where it is or what it looks like... when you rev it, it rasps n possible air sucking, would this indicate the throttle body is dirty/damaged?
Cheers mark

Re: Wheres the throttle body/actuator

Follow the air intake pipe from the filter (front) to the engine. The throttle body is the last thing you'll meet.

Sounds like the semi-flexible part of the hose may be split...
