Ooooohh! What fab ideas for complaining!

Are you sure that Plod will only move me on and not charge me, as long as I'm not obstructing anyone? (they like to slap points on my license for cheap-shot-not-really-ethical-procedures-but-we-usually-win-in-court type speeding nicks....I'm not a fan of our boys in blue - except RAF!) Moose will be most pleased he can get his crayons out and get scribblin'!

Do it mediababe.I would just love to see the look on the faces of the boys in the dealership with you standing outside, hazard lights on, maybe some 'protest' music coming from the stereo and a BIG protest board! And when they come out to ask you to discuss it inside, tell em you'll discuss it right here on the road!

anarchy rules OK!!

I can't see why you should get arrested; after all, it is just a peaceful protest. Driving the 147 into the showroom at great, that will get you arrested

(and no, that's not a suggestion, no matter how tempting it sounds...)

let us know how you get on!

Hi again Mediababe, just check your dealer is doing the right thing, as the service news is not to fit a new switch. Get them to check out the service news I told you. And for gods sake kick their arses for being absolutely crap.

Currently having a non returned phone call scenario.....

Moose can only get through if he uses someone else's name at the switchboard....

Or gets a mate to ring and hand the phone over when through to the relevant idiot!

However, apart from the dire delivery faults on the Alfa we are a problem of their own making, and I'm almost taking some insane pleasure at being the thorn they have stuck in their own side....

Reading this and knowing the hassle I have had to try and get dealers to remedy faults under warranty, together with Alfa/Fiat UK`s total indifference to customer service isn`t it time we started compiling a list of decent franchised dealers?
It seems strange that Coupers in St Albans who we bought our car from and we generally have had good service from are now an independent specialist at a time when Alfa are said to be trying to get good Alfa only franchises!
For the record,we now use Perrys at Amersham(also at Aylesbury),(for warranty work)and they have been quite helpful. They even collect my car from work for me,which doesn`t always happen with other dealers. However even they have not been able to completely eradicate my annoyng door rattle on my Spider! So come on lets get a list together of the good ones (and the bad ones)!
Good luck with resolving your 147 problems.
If not try Watchdog next!
