Just picked up my car from one of those "Meet & Greet" parking companies after a short trip overseas. I do a lot of travelling and use these guys (Gatwick & heathrow) on a regular basis.
When the guy met me with the car, aside from the usual nice comments about my bella
, he said the petrol was on empty. Funny thing is I distinctly remember noting the fuel indicator was "close" to coming on when I dropped it off - which usually meant there was a good 40-60 miles left, depending on how it's driven. When I get in and switch on it's COMPLETELY EMPTY!!!
However, my main gripe is on switching on the Stereo/Connect +, I was presented with the "Master Code Request" box
Firstly, what is it? And secondly, what on earth can trigger it to happen? It's never done this before.
I have noticed, that on most occasions when they drop off the car to me, the Trip "Mute" is off (I always have mute on) which suggested they'd had difficulty switching of the radio and had randomly pressed some of the buttons
But never this!!!
Any suggestion on rememdy and possible cause??
If I have to spend out any money on reset etc I'd like to know how these guys might have (inadvertently) buggered it up
Thanks in advance for any help
