Re: Going to look at a 147 1.9 Diesel, any advice?
I've looked round cargiant before and their stock isn't that well prepared - but then their prices are generally very good so you can afford chipsaway/dentmaster to give it a going over afterwards if you want a mint one. Many cars are ex-hire or ex-lease so give it a good look over as some are missing trim or with interiors in poor condition. Test drives are very limited too - a quick drive around the block, after you've waited a while for them to get it out. They don't do haggling either, and trade-ins are bottom book values.
Bear in mind that the big cambelt service is at 72k miles or 5 years which would be coming up soon.
If it checks out though, it looks like a decent car for sensible money which should give plenty of good service. Pre-facelift too, which looks so much better.
