Boxing Help! Electrical problems from being Shunted!

hi! i was hit from behind by a 4x4. the body damage wasn't too bad, broken lights, dent... but, after i got hit, i started to have a lot of problems driving my car! the biggest thing is that the dash lights will flicker and the car will stall when i slow down, especially at a roundabout.

insurance is saying this isn't the fault of the hit, but i never had this problem before! i have had to pay myself to get the car to the alfa dealer and wait to see what they say. any advice?

thank you for your help!!

Bloody insurance companies! Sorry, can't help with a fix but I would be in the ear of that insurance company constantly until they agreed to pay for the repair. Don't let them fob you off, remember the squeaky wheel gets the grease!
