Now been off the road for 2 weeks wth a p155 easy 1 hour replacement job.
1st Old cylinder welded itself to the mounting bracket. Eventually got a local spannerman in who beat th $hit out of it with a hammer, got it out, but broke the bracket.
2nd tried to get a replacement bracket, no one's got one. Still waiting for main stealer to get back.
Now tried a bodge to get on the road, managed to secure the cylinder to the broken bracket with spit and baling twine.
Now can't get it to fit!! It seems about 2 inches to long and the piston won't locate in the clutch actuating arm.

Do I try to move the piston back or the arm forwards.
This has almost got me running back to a nice Saab 9000 Aero I've seen, this job has got more difficult at every stage, more so than needs be.
No-one will come out to look at it, and I'm loathed to pay a 'recovery' fee to get my car from home to someones business just for a look at it.
