Re: Am i being suspicious?
And this is the reply i got this morning...
Thank you for your interest in purchasing my car.The vehicle is in good condition, has no technical damage at all, no scratches or dents, no hidden defects, no smoking. It's fun and robust to drive. Technical inspection and emissions testing is passed and stamped as well. It has title of ownership, cleared of any obligations or fees and comes with all the documents you need to register it.You will not have to pay additional taxes for this. Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have."
Classic scam. The next stage will be to ask me for payment by Western Union or some other untraceable method like Moneygram, he'll probably ask for a small deposit and tell me that he'll ship the car FOC to my home adress.
Oh and the exact words in my email to him were "Hi, can you tell me where your car is so i can come and view it" Note that he hasn't answered that question, he's just gone into his pre-prepared script.
The trick now is to try and get him to go off script and make him do some work or even better spend some money!
