Bloody Hell, that's what a JTD goes like
Low down anyway. Blocked egr off last night and no improvement so that ruled the egr out. Found that the 2 vacuum pipes that go to the electro valve on the crash panel weren't taped together to stop them chafing but to disguise the fact that the connector on the top pipe was snapped off. Bit of battle damage repair later and we now have a variable vane turbo that starts blowing hard at 1500 revs. After getting used to it as was since I bought it that was a pleasant surprise, especially for the van behind me who actually stopped 'cos o the black smoke as she cleared her lungs! Still not revving tho so gonna clean the maf tomorrow.
Quadcamboy? Has anyone seen 3 camshafts lying around anywhere?
