Hi all, whats involved in removing the top dash panel and/or the side piece in front of the drivers side?. I ask because a wire has come loose,it was a aftermarket fitment for a satnav and it has been stretched to the point of disconnection inside the dash (damn you, woman)wire comes out in the right hand corner near the A pillar. The satnav looked quite nice in that corner, dont fancy running it off the lighter.

Re: Dash?

its all one piece so removing it is a nightmare. however you dont need to remove it to access the existing wire or install a new one. just take the fusebox cover off and i'm sure you'll see the wire. alternatively fit a new one, wired up to any live you see fit (e.g. behind cig lighter)
