Re: fan not working
More than often its the dirt around the spade connections are at fault.
I am no ecky but if you apply 12v across two pins that sit the same , I think its 85 and 86 .If you here it click with a plus and minus on the other side the it works.
The other problem is corrosion on a resistor which lies to the Freon side of the fan cowling it has two black connectors attached in the engine side. You can extract this by unscrewing the self tappers nd checking it has a flow of current eiter side. The resistor is green in colour and can have corrosion on the connections to the board. Its about £20 quid to replace. The resistor controls two fan speeds but only one is needed if you have no aircon. Also if you can supply 12v to the fan separately then you can eliminate its fault if you have one?
Be careful of our fingers ,--------- keep them out of the way!
