My new slave cylinder arrived today
, and I've just been prepared to replace it.
Checked on the forum for some hints and it seems easy enough (except for the joy of bleeding the sytem).
i. Remove circlip, yep it won't budge, tried with all sorts of pikey tools as well as circlip pliers. Just about got one end 'clipping'. Lots of plusgas and WD40 on it now.
ii. undo bolt, remove. Won't shift either, running the risk of rounding the edges off the connector.
A little fed up now, air filter, intake pipe, MAF, and battery/tray off, so car won't be moving very far.
Any hints on how to get the thing off??
Why is it the little explanations that never seem to work? Two or three word description couple of hours of work!
