Mine is remapped, I'm using a K&N air filter for better air flow, and it barely smokes at all. It has done in the past though, when hoses have split. Not now though.
If there really are no splits & leaks in the system, try using some Forte additives - the diesel additive to each tankful, and the engine flush when you next change the oil.
Failing these, get your injectors tested.
What's your mileage, by the way? Cambelt changed at all (thinking it might be a tooth out or something)?
Otherwise, MAF & EGR should be cleaned out (or renewed). I did my EGR last week... not a bad job, makes a difference at lower speeds..
