Brainless Alfa UK

Quite simply the indicator relay on my 156 is broken and needs replacing. Called two Alfa service centres, both were told by Alfa/Fiat UK that the part is no longer available due to Alfa/Fiat being in dispute with the supplier over quality issues with said component. I pointed out that if you have no indicators what are you meant to do in the meantime because they won't supply a 12 part?

ps its the same component as that in the Fiat Multipla.

Re: Brainless Alfa UK

If the part is on back order from Alfa Italy, that is hardly Alfa UK's fault...

Re: Brainless Alfa UK

Why not just go to a motorfactors? they stock relays.

So many reasons why you should not be too upset over this issue.

Re: Brainless Alfa UK

best thing to do is to never take your Alfa to an Alfa approved dealer, take it to a recomanded independent, as the mechanics at dealers do not really care for your car, as they just see it as another motor! I am still waiting for Alfa UK to sort out my dispute with autoworld in Chesterfield, it is disgusting the way that they deal with owners. Best dealers so far have been Volvo and Vauxhall.
