Re: Help Please - debadging problem
Did you ever get the sticky glue of the sides Steve?
My vote would be get some liquid lighter fuel, just pour a little on so the fluffy bit is soaked, hold a cloth underneath so it don't run down the paintwork.
Leave it for a few minutes, the rub off with nail (yours not woodworking) or something like that, flex plastic can sometimes be ok, but I would stick with a thumbnail.
Once you get it down to just a mark with no fluffy bits, out with the polish.
The misses just got a new (old) car and I had to swap the plates the dealer had stuck on to Euro ones, it took me fluffin ages to get all that stuff off...
Looking smooth without the badges (my GT same colour, I kept the GT but ditched the 1.9 JTD, but only after I made it a .9 JTD with a bit over-enthusiastic polishing & buffing one day!)
