Re: 2005(facelift) 156 Indicator relay location?
Just adding this to help anybody in the future. Today I checked my dads older 156 to see what the blue cube looks like. Of course there it is plain as day underneath the steering column very close to the steering wheel. So back to my facelift 156, its now a black cube and in the same position, HOWEVER there is now an another part screwed partially over the top which prevents access(it also has a plug with four wires that covers the indicator relay. It turns out that the steering wheel needs to be removed to remove this extra component in order to swap out the indicator relay (what a PITA). Local dealer has quoted £50 to swap it, as removing the steering wheel may mess up the airbag I'm going to let them do it.
Another point, this component is the same as a Fiat Multipla and is currently NOT available due to quality control issues!
