Hi. Further to a post i did a few months ago, can anyone offer any last advice before i have to give in and take my 156 (2001 2.4jtd) to the local dealer?
The abs and handbrake lights are on continually in the dashboard - the manual suggests an ebd fault, a go on my mechanics diagnostic machine suggests an ecu fault or a fault with the relay in the abs, but he wasn't keen to tackle either job.....
I have checked the fuses on top of the battery which can apparently cause problems and had a look at the connections for the abs sensor at each wheel. I have also looked at the toothed abs wheels/rings at each corner but cannot see anything obviously wrong.
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.....a trip to alfa for this sort of thing sounds expensive..........thanks.
