Help Car Wont Rev Past 3000

Hi Guys Any Theories Why My 156 2.0 Ts Wont Rev Past 3000 Revs? Fitted A New Engine To My Car And So One Told Me It Was Becxause The Battery Was Completely Flat, But I'm Not Convinced Any Suggestions?

I have read elsewhere on these forums that this type of problem may be related to the air flow meter. I am not an expert so suggest you search and see if it is relevant.

Try searching for 'air flow meter' or 'maf' or 'air mass sensor' or similar. You might also find some detail in some of my posts about my GT problem.

unplug the air flow meter and run the car with air flow meter unplugged for a few minutes if the problem goes away then probably air flow meter is faulty
