Exhaust Flex

I think my exhaust flex is almost dead, not sure why but it happened to the previous car i owned, maybe due to the prevalence of speed bumps in my town?

It looks like theres lots of freying around the unit when i look under the car, is it possible to fix or do i just need to buy a replacement?

When it first started going wrong i liked the sound of it, but now its gotten a little too much. How much would a exhaust to give this noise (in a toned down way) cost?

THIS seems the right replacement part?

Re: Exhaust Flex

If it's just the bendy bit, you can replace these on their own, it'll be a lot cheaper. I seem to remember there being mention of this on here a while ago, try doing a search? I believe you could get the part for about £80.

Good luck!
