Loving the Alfa GT but just had an MOT....

and its failed due to the centre rear seatbelt being stuck. You cant pull it out at all!

Any ideas?

Had seatbelts get 'stuck' (usually in) in several alfas, does seem to be an issue. They lock in a safe position. Only way I found has been to unbolt the loose end and let the belt retract fully, then pull it out again. On my GT the middle belt got stuck, but it was the plastic button that's fitted as a stop wound back in too far, past the opening (it's supposed to stop this happenning) and was a bugger to pull out. Unbolt it, let it rewind and it should work ok again.
Sod's law it happens around MOT time.

I'm surprised the garage didn't tell you to do this, unhelpful lot
