Koni Shocks / Bump Stops + CV Gaiter
Still haven't really got round to fitting my new Koni shocks + springs yet (work!), but had a quick look at them earlier and noticed that the bump stops that are supplied with the rear shock abosrbers won't fit over the piston on the shock absorber (fronts are OK). The hole through the middle of the bump stop is too small. Do I need to cut these out a bit so they can slide over, or buy some more (they could have supplied the wrong ones?), althought the front and rear bump stops are all the same size.
Also, made a post the other day about replacing an outer CV gaiter. Is it really that simple to remove the circlip on the CV joint, and slide the new boot on? I haven't got the grease yet, but I'm guessing you would use something like EP grease?
Thanks in advance,
