OBC Re-Boot ?

I have a 2002 156 2.0JTS, with about 55K miles. I noticed recently that the average speed/fuel consumption figures on the OBC seemed too low - averaging about 24mpg ! I knew the actual consumption was much better than this.

To check the figures, I drove at a steady 80 and re-set the trip computer. It gave me an average speed of 50mph ! Interestingly, the 5:8 ratio is miles:kilometres. So it looks as though the OBC is confusing miles with Km. Has anybody come up against this, and know how to fix it ? I've tried a battery disconnect, and checked the UNITS on the variable parameters, but still the same.
