Need help,catalystic converter removal

I have 2002 Alfa Romeo 147 1.6TS(105hp),and I'm thinking about removing my catalystic converter, and putting flowtrough pipe instead. The car(I think) has two catalistic converters, one in the front(smaller),and one in the middle(bigger).Should I remove only the bigger, and leave the one in the front(because of the backpreassure),or is it safe to remove both of them?
The car has flowtrough back box,the rest of the exhaust is normal...

I would say remove the one in the exhaust manifold first and go from there.

Actually it looks like the 105bhp 1.6TS 147 only has one Cat (the one at the top of the downpipe), no others.
