Re: MAF, EGR on 2.4 156 HELP!! - UPDATE 1
Unfortunately I needed the car, so I booked it into MGC in Nottingham (Alfa specialist). They have reported three faults according to the diagnosis machine:
1.EGR Valve - reading incorrect
2.MAF Sensor reading incorrect (can’t remember too low or high?)
3.Boost controller fault.
They tech I spoke to says - it is more than likely an egr valve that is causing this and will probably fix the others.
They are fitting a new egr valve on as we speak.
Car has done 95k, so probably needs a new one. I hope the MAF is ok though... Will report back...
Bloody expensive though - £233 (including a new valve (not recon), diagnosis, and fitting.
I will definitely invest in a obd connector and workshop manual! I wish I had read up on these and bought them before, would have saved at least £100.
