Improved Fuel economy Curiosity
I have just had my car serviced (120,000 kms) with belts and variator done previously @115,000 kms.
Since the 120,000 km service, the fuel economy has improved by about 10% on the "Computer'- Average "B"
Previously, running around town I never got over 10 km / litre now I regularly see 11 km/ litre and on a really good run I got 12 km / lire.....
Now the car supposedly got 10W60 oil and I had the wheel alignment done, something that has been done several times before.....with no affect on fuel economy.
Apart from having a lower Viscosity oil added I cannot think what has "improved' the economy......other than a "Bung' Computer
