Alfa 156 veloce (2001) suspension replacement
I recently had some work sone on my car at my local Alfa dealer and they noticed that my suspension is needing replaced (have heard sort of bad creaking noises coming from both front and back of car for while now). I have been advised that both front top suspension arms need replaced, both front lower ball joints are worn and that both rear link arm bushes are split. They have suggested that both top arms, lower arms and both transverse links (quoting from information I have been given so if using incorrect terms please bear with me!) should all be replaced within approximately two months time.
I have no knowledge whatsoever of replacing anything to do with the suspension, and am happy to pay them to do this work, even though I am aware it is expensive.
I love driving this car, and have had no serious problems with it since I bought it over a year ago. Obviously I don't want to wait too long to have this work done, and the creaking noises are definately getting worse now when I am driving the car.
I have been quoted approximately nine hundred pounds for all parts with labour included. Could someone with any knowledge of this type of suspension please advise me if this is a reasonable charge for replacement with original parts and including labour?
Many thanks in advance for any helpful advice!
