Red dot it is then! Has anyone done anything else to give their diesel alfa a boost?
Q2 is excellent
Koni sport Kit, or eibach's and FSD's are popular, anything to stiffen it up.
17" alloys and 225's are essential if you intent to get round the corner when ragging it.
For extra worthwhile tuning,
fit a front mount intercooler, old saab ng 95> 900 turbo IC is a great donor, entry & exit on IC from same side so you end up with less piping than standard setup and remove all those nasty bends.
With that done you can then sort out the intake, enlarge it and use the straight route now available and put a large cone filter where the old IC used to be.
If you intend to get 200bhp, its well worth using a larger diameter arir mass housing, as this will not go off the scale and it will keep the throttle linear and progressive rather than it all on the first half inch of throttle.
Your car will have a 3bar map sensor, so boost can be increased and still measured to 1.9bar on overboost, dropping a little for normal running.
After that, your turbo will be the limiting factor as its not the biggest turbo in the world.
The CDTi astra (thurlby astra) with the 888 remap got to around 192bhp.
This seems to be about the max unless you put the effort in in the hardware side - intercooler - intake side.
