Thanks for this. It was your post I originally read, you said
"Lift the housing up and off its mount then simply unfasten the clips that hold the housing together"
I assume you did nothing from the top of the car, then pushed the two pins out of the bottom mount bracket, then unfastened the clips ?
I did all of this yesterday with the exception of lifting the filter housing from its mount. I had thought it would be the cover nearest the wheel arch that came of to expose the filter but it seems to be secured at the top somewhere out of sight. I then ran out of time.
From your post it sounded easy, my experience was the opposite.
