Kick plates/sill protectors for GT

I'm thinking of getting some kick plates/sill protectors fitted to my GT.

Has anyone had them fitted, do they replace the existing GT logo'ed metal strip which is already on the inside or do they fit to the external painted part of the sill ?

I've tried to find some pictures to no avail and you can't browse the accessories on the Alfa site.

Cheers

Steve

They fit on the external painted part of the sill. They are attached with double sided tape - 2 min job. I can post pictures later today when I am at home, I have them installed on my 147.

We have them on ours. They are easy to fit, look great and offer protection to the sill from the dreaded door seal rub

Here are mine. Original Linea Alfa accesories. About 80 - 100 EUR from Alfa dealer, but it was 5 years ago....
BTW, my car is really dirty now, it is raining here all the time

Re: Kick plates/sill protectors for GT

Note the sill paint wear on A4E's GT. They're all the same but the plates do help.

Wow thats a ridiculous price i paid less than £80 for original
AR parts from Ebay keep an eye out they often crop up and take minutes to fit

Re: Kick plates/sill protectors for GT

with refernce to the picture above i get more scuff marks below the lower chrome strip on my red gt sill and the scuff marks are exposed when the door is shut; they wont come off no matter how hard of trying - has anyone eva overcome this problem?

the lower chrome strip shown on the pic looks great - where can i get them?

also the upper chrome strip on my car is really scuffed where can i get some of them and how much?
