Violent kangaroo at cold has now gone ...
Snap ! Mine is also cured. It seems that this conception that a faulty crank sensors only manifesting itself as starting problems is not the case. Given my experiences, I would now suggest replacing the crank sensor before the MAF or lambda for ropey running problems.
EVAP to fully trace down
Check fuel pressure
Replace knock sensor
Replace cambelt, variator and camshaft sensor
Replace throttle body etc
Replace variator solenoid
Of the above, I did all these with no improvement except a full cambelt change which did help a bit. That's possibly the only real difference between the performance of our 2 x 2.0 TS's (see latest on my thread).
You could also try an engine flush as this can produce good results on high mileage engines - can help the functioning of hydraulic valves.
