Re: new suspension / De cat or not ?
To a certain extent, but it's a Garrett T28, so it's relatively strong unit. The problem really is no turbo company seems to be able to replicate the amount of miles the original units can do out of the factory. A normal turbo seems to last something like 60-80k miles, but a re-con through very good turbo re-con specialists only last about < of 20-30k miles or so, but it all depends on what sort of abuse the car gets I suppose.
I'll still probably de-cat my JTD though as it's a cheap way of freeing up power and inproving the spool up. I wouldn't do a non turbo car again though as my V6 Vectra idled extremely badly as alot of NA cars depend on the back pressure caused by the cat to idle properly.
