Colour Coding advice needed

Depending on the car I like the contrast arch extensions and rubbing strips give the car ie Mk2 XR2's look better un-colour coded where cars like say the VTR/S look alot fresher with their bumper and wing rubbing stripes colour coded.

I'm looking to purchase a nice set of ABS GTA style side skirts for my 156 next month, as it was on a low spec the sills are crying out for skirts.

Id also like my bumper strips colour coded along with my mirrors.

With the stripes I haven't got a choice but the mirrors - would I be better of having a already colour coded pair painted rather than my base model Black items as they seem to have that strange texture to them.

Re: Colour Coding advice needed

The mirrors are black to blend in when you look from the side or at an angle. I actually prefer them that way, but each to his own ...

But if you are going to paint them you will need plastic primer first to fill the texture and provide a key for the paint. The brackets are an alloy and also need appropriate primer. A good degrease will be needed first.
