if your only problem is cracked red plastic then you dont need to do any programming, just replace the red plastic.
you will find this easier than most people because your metal part has already come off, so you can clearly see the round part that usually holds it in place, making it easy for you to use a 5mm drill bit on the replacement key so you can remove the metal part (you know where to drill it by looking at your orignal key), then glue your original metal part in.
you will then need to carefully swap the immob chips over. remove them carefully by cutting away the glue with a small scalpel.
swapping the remote PCB's over is very easy, you need to remove them anyway so just make sure you put the right one back in your fixed key.
a key should be £10 on ebay, job done.
