I paid for a Nationwide garage that has served us good over the times to run a Diagnostic yes. From this they found that cylinder 4 was misfiring due to worn HT leads, so they were replaced then.
I dunno how it would be the crank sensor jug? I've just replaced it with a genuine unit from an Alfa dealership? Plus, its easy to restart after it stalls when hot, it starts well every time in all conditions.
So after I check the spark plugs just to rule out that slim chance what next?
Do you recommend a AlfaDiag Pud over a garage done diagnostic? I mean I entrust that they are not the shody type of garage to simply ignore other errors flashed up. I would have expected to them to tell me of any errors that they found, even the ones they failed to read.
I had the throttle body off when I did the crank sensor, and that all seemed clean enough, with everything free moving.
Do you recommend getting off the fuel injectors and expecting them?
THe idle is still erratic after I slow to a halt though, which is normally around the time it stalls. It will either have a few ups and downs, and eventually settle, or just stall once I get slow enough.
Took my Alfa for a blat today though, and I don't hate it anymore today so, that's good at least.
I came | this | close to kicking in my door after my test run yesterday, but I took one second to look at the beautiful silver door with that sharp pressed crease like a tailor made suit and I could hurt it
Thanks for all your help guys, I really do appreciate it greatly.
