Re: Product review: Ragazzon back box on 147.
In my experience the center section had significant impact on the sound. I replaced my exhaust parts step by step. First the back box only. It changed sound to deeper and raspier, but not much louder. Than I changed the manifold to a custom one without pre-cats. Sound character didnít change much, but everything was more intensive and sound wasnít coming from the tailpipe only but from engine bay as well. As the last step I replaced the cat and center section and this is when the biggest change in sound came. Much louder, clear shooting into the exhaust when the throttle is suddenly released in high revs but what annoys me is the growl between 2500 - 3000 rpm. My center section has just a small round resonator tube (13cm diameter, 35cm long). I will be soon replacing it by supersprint center section with the oval middle silencer box (12x20x40cm) and I expect to silence it a little bit.
