No real way of knowing as the light can indicate a myriad of faults.
Best thing is to either get it hooked up to Alfadiag IF the car ECU is compatible. Check alfadiag.net for details. Only costs £40 ish for the program and £10 for a compatible lead from ebay.
If, on the other hand, your car is not compatible to the above, the only other way is to visit an Alfa Specialist (NOT main dealer) who has an Examiner unit and run a diagnostic on that. Main dealers charge the earth for this, hence I said Alfa Specialist.
