Timing Belt

Does anyone have any advice on when to change the timing belt on a GT. My car has done 45000km and is 2 years old. One garage has said to change it but another has said 70000km or 3 years. It is an expensive job to fhave done but of course potentially even more expensive if not changed.......Help please.

Re: Timing Belt

Only relate to the TS engine, which is 36,000 mls or three years, so yours is a wider margin than this I guess?:

Re: Timing Belt

ZF it also relates to the JTS engine, which Kasper has.

This belt should be changed every 36 months/ 60,000 Km along with the tensioner kit and balance belt, also consider doing the variator at the same time.

Re: Timing Belt

Thanks, looks like I can put off parting with my cash for another year then.
Looks like a PS3 is on the cards then.
